Katarina Andersson

I am a visual artist based in Stockholm and primarily works in oil on canvas. My paintings are filled with symbolism and open up windows to a surreal world where the focus is on the animals point of view. I am interested in storytelling and to find alternative and overlooked perspectives. Lately I have explored this by challenging anthropocentrism and letting animals be main characters in my work. I am currently studying the Bachelor’s programme in Fine Art at Konstfack, Stockholm.

Best Before Collective allows me to connect and work with other artists and together create an accessible and living part of the Stockholm art scene.
